Eusexua City

The brief
This personal 3D animation was inspired by FKA twigs Eusexua, a hauntingly intimate yet otherworldly project. I wanted to mirror its emotional tone with a visual narrative that starts grounded, a quiet street scene with the words “Do you feel alone?” and expands into a grand cosmic reveal. The city’s green hue nods to cyberpunk and soft club aesthetics, building toward a final shot of a space city shaped like the Eusexua logo. Twigs later shared this piece on her Instagram story
The goal of this project was to test my ability to optimize a large-scale 3D scene using procedural generation. I built the city using modular, procedural elements designed for maximum performance and visual consistency. This allowed me to manage an expansive scene, with a seamless zoom from close-up to orbit while keeping render times efficient and maintaining high fidelity.
The final stage was all about refining the zoom timing, balancing atmosphere and emotion, and syncing the rhythm of streetlights and camera movement with the beat of the track. The animation ends with a glowing reveal of the Eusexua-shaped space city, bringing the journey full circle.
